US market research demonstrates the power of phone words

A memorable phone word can significantly improve response rates in advertising.

Recent research from 800response, a market leader in phone words in the United States, shows how effective phone words can be in promoting a business.

This US research demonstrates that 65% of people were able to recall a phone word featured in a visual advertisement.  Only 31% of participants were able to recall the numeric telephone number.

The results for audio advertisements were even more impressive.  Only about 5% of participants were able to recall a numeric telephone number featured in a simulated radio advertisement, compared to a massive 72.3% who were able to recall a phone word.

In short, a well chosen phone word can dramatically increase the return on your advertising investment.
